Lexington County Coroner, Margaret Fisher, has identified the individual who died in a head-on collision in the 800 block of Alexander Road in Cayce shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday.

According to Fisher, Ms. Jessica Ann Shiltz, 38, of West Columbia was driving eastbound on Alexander Road when she crossed the center line in a curve hitting another vehicle head-on. Ms. Shiltz, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

The Cayce Police Department continues to investigate the incident.
