The staff of the City of West Columbia Utilities Department built a float for the Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber and Visitors Program Parade of Lights.

But severe weather resulted in the cancellation of the parade. The Utilities Department wanted to show off their work anyway. So even if there is no parade, he’s a little taste of it in pictures.

The Utilities Department members who put together the unit are: Jeremy Bristow, Ashton Miles, Justin Davis, Dana Cotnoir, Trevor Ellison, and David Cribb. It’s a digger decked out in lights and a hand painted sign.
