The City of West Columbia will host its 11th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Friday, December 4, 2015. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. with Christmas carols, Christmas greetings, and the lighting of the West Columbia Christmas Tree.

The event will take place in front of the West Columbia City Hall at 200 North 12th Street. West Columbia Mayor Bobby Horton and Council invites the public to attend a free reception provided by local West Columbia restaurants in the New Brookland Room of the West Columbia City Hall after the tree lighting.

the Christmas Prayer.

Winners of the contest, “What Christmas Means To Me”, sponsored by elementary schools in the West Columbia area, will read their winning essays or poems. The winners will come together with Mayor Horton and special guests to magically light the Christmas tree!
