West Columbia TD Bank robbed, suspects fled in white Jetta
The West Columbia Police Department is requesting assistance from the community in locating two suspects who robbed the TD Bank, at 1926 Augusta Rd. in West Columbia. The robbery took place at approximately 11 a.m. Monday, according to WCPD Assistant Police Chief Sott Morrison.
Morrison said “at approximately 11 a.m. this morning, two black males entered the bank and demanded money from the teller. One of the males was armed with a handgun. They were wearing grey hooded sweat shirts, black masks and black gloves. Both suspects were average height and build.”
Both suspects got into a white, four-door Volkswagen Jetta with a sunroof. The vehicle had a black and red paper tag on it.
