West Columbia Police Officers’ Foundation honors Brandon Miller as Officer of the Year – Annie DiNovo and Tazaray Gunter honored too
The West Columbia Police Officers’ Foundation held its annual Police Banquet- celebrating the many achievements of the brave men and women who proudly serve, Thursday night. West Columbia Mayor Tem Miles spoke at the event and Police Chief Marion Boyce handed out awards.
Brandon Miller was named Officer of the Year, Annie DiNovo was named Rookie of the Year and Tazaray Gunter was named Civilian Employee of the Year
In addition to the officers, the night was a time to say thank you and celebrate the spouses who support the officers.
The WCPOF raises funds throughout the year to help with community projects, officer training and to secure funding for Line of Duty Death benefits if the unfortunate were to occur. The banquet was an example of how those funds are used, by hosting an awards program that recognized the hard work and sacrifices of the officers.
