West Columbia Mayor Tem Miles, WCPD Police Chief Marion Boyce, and Mayor Pro Tem Mickey Pringle presented PFC Lance Wampler as Officer of the Quarter at the West Columbia City Council Meeting, Tuesday. Boyce said throughout the quarter, Officer Wampler has demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility throughout a recent assignment outside of his normal duties. He routinely maintained a positive attitude and consistently went above and beyond to support both his team and the mission. Officer Wampler has been recognized by his supervisors as setting a high standard and as a valuable asset to the department.
