West Columbia Police Officer Chris Yarborough recognized as Officer of the Quarter

West Columbia Police Officer Chris Yarborough was recognized Monday at the West Columbia City Council Meeting as Officer of the Quarter. He is pictured with WCPD Chief Chief Marion Boyce.

Yarborough serves as the School Resource Officer for Saluda River Academy of the Arts. He has established wonderful relationships with the students, staff, and parents at the school. Officer Yarborough has made a difference in the community by rebuilding their Memorial Butterfly Garden, leading the flag patrol, and with his contagious positive attitude. His principal described him as having made a true impact on the school and as a celebrity among the students. Officer Yarborough represents our city well and we couldn’t be more proud of him.
