The West Columbia Police Department has made an arrest for an alleged murder that occurred on Sunday.

In the early morning hours of Sunday, a stabbing occurred at 802 Central Drive in West Columbia, said police. 

In connection to the stabbing, West Columbia Police Department investigators arrested Randy Eugene Self, of West Columbia. He was arrested Sunday and booked at the Lexington County Detention Center where he is awaiting bond.

The department will provide additional details in this case at a later time.
