The West Columbia Police Department is asking for help to locate a man who is accused of robbing the Circle K at 2308 Augusta Rd. in West Columbia.

Police said an armed robbery occurred on Tuesday at approximately 11 p.m. The suspect entered the business, according to police, wearing a black Gamecock cap, white t-shirt with a black  shirt around his shoulder.  He was wearing black pants with an Air Jordon logo on the left thigh and wearing white and red Nike shoes. The suspect is accused of presenting a  handgun to the store clerk demanding money from the register. The suspect stole approximately $100 in cash. The suspect then fled on foot toward Leaphart Road.
