West Columbia Police Investigator Chuck Bramlett suffered heart attack
West Columbia Police Department issues press release regarding death of Investigator Chuck Bramlett
The West Columbia Police Department Announces the passing of Investigator Chuck Bramlett at the age of 61. He was rushed to Lexington Medical center Sunday July 19, after he suffered a sudden heart attack. He died Tuesday surrounded by family and friends.
West Columbia Police Chief Dennis Tyndall stated “Chuck Bramlett has been a fixture at our Department for almost 23 years. He has trained officers to understand the importance of hard work, professional and personal integrity. Chuck was one of the Department’s first Community police officers; he loved to work in the Community.”
Tyndall stated “Chuck loved to cook for his fellow officers and the community. Any time we had a fundraiser or a Law Enforcement event Chuck was always there cooking hotdogs, burgers or chickens. Chuck was always willing to help out anyone in need. He was well respected by his peers and the citizens he served with great dedication. He will be sorely missed.”
