
West Columbia Police Department releases its monthly statistics report for April

The WCPD released its Monthly statistics report, Tuesday with the statement below:
“To keep our residents and businesses informed, we will be sharing our monthly stats so that our community knows where we are and what we’re working on. We are committed to our community and to providing modern policing solutions. To best serve our residents, we are analyzing crime data and applying it to our policing methods, enabling us to determine crime trends in the city so that resources can be allocated more efficiently.”
The WCPD also worked 69 collisions in the month of April and issued 201 traffic citations, and 199 warnings.
There were 16 DUI arrests made and 104 arrests made.
