West Columbia Police are investigating a shooting
Two men are wounded after being shot.
Capt. Scott Morrison of the West Columbia Police Department said police are investigating a shooting that happened early Friday morning.
Morrison said police were called around 1:30 a.m. to the 500 block of North Street to investigate the shooting.
When police arrived, they found two Hispanic males, with gunshot wounds, in the house.
Morrison said investigators found that two black male suspects approached the home and knocked on the door. When one of the victims opened the door, the suspects began firing, striking one victim in the leg and stomach and the other in the back. Both of the victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Morrison said he had no more details, but the police are continuing to investigate the incident.
