Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has released the identity of the person who was found dead at a home located in the 700 block of Shull Street in West Columbia, Wednesday, shortly before 4:30 p.m.

According to Fisher, Mr. Frankie Orlando Gardner, 35, of West Columbia was pronounced dead at the scene due to a single gunshot wound to the upper body.

The West Columbia Police Department continues to investigate the incident.
