The spirit of Christmas was in the air at the West Columbia City Hall, Friday night.

Children, music and finally all was bright when the city’s Christmas tree – and the surrounding grounds – were illuminated. Photos from the evenings festivities are included. The bleachers were full and rows of people were standing as the annual program proceeded.

At the conclusion of the program, a reception was held in the New Brookland Room of the West Columbia City Hall. Refreshments were provided by local West Columbia restaurants, organizations, and businesses.
