Crews from the West Columbia Fire Department and Lexington County Fire Services were on the scene of a fire at a house off of Hook Avenue, Sunday evening. This photo was taken at about 8:15. Smoke was coming out of the house that appeared to be on Burlie Court. West Columbia Police was blocking traffic at the site while firefighters responded.

There was heavy lightening in the area Sunday evening, and some streets had standing water on them because of heavy rain.
