Units from the West Columbia Fire Department, along with EMS, were on the site of the Family Dollar store on sunset Boulevard at Hummingbird Drive in West Columbia, Tuesday afternoon.

Smoke could be seen coming from the west rear side of the building.
West Columbia police rerouted traffic coming out of Westover Acres away from the intersection.
