The City of West Columbia held a Special Council Meeting on Tuesday. At that meeting,  the oath of office was administered to newly-elected District 1 Council Member Mike Green. City Council, City Staff, and members of the community welcomed him to council.

Green was elected to council on June 20. He won the seat that was opened with the passing in late March of former Councilman Dale Harley.
