West Columbia Council to discuss water-sewer, Brookland parking at Monday meeting

West Columbia City Council will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday (April 18) at City Hall., challwc200 N. 12th Street

Items on the agenda include: a “Presentation Regarding Updates to the Riverwalk and Amphitheater Park Rules and Policies;

Consideration of the Planning Commission’s Recommendation to Deny a Request to Rezone 840 Williams Street, West Columbia, SC (TMS# 005741-02-011) from C3 (Restrict Commercial) to R-1 (General Residential) – PC 16-08

And an executive (closed) session to discuss:: a Contractual Matter Pertaining to Water and Sewer Rate Restructure and Bulk Water Customers (Pursuant to SC State Code, Section 30-4-70 (A) (2) – Mr. Bill Bingham, American Engineering Consultants, Inc.

A Legal and Contractual Matters Pertaining to the Brookland Parking Agreement and TIF District (Pursuant to SC State Code, Section 30-4-70 (A) (2) – Mike Tighe, Esquire

Legal Matters Pertaining to a Sanitary Survey Received from the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) and Response (Pursuant to SC State Code, Section 30-4-70 (A) (2) – Belton Zeigler, Esquire

Contractual Matter Pertaining to Public Relation Services (Pursuant to SC State Code, Section 30-4-70 (A) (2)

Council is then scheduled to reconvene into a regular session for Consideration to Approve a Parking Declaration and Agreement with Brookland Village, LLC.
