West Columbia City Council passed first reading of its budget for Fiscal Year 2026-27, Tuesday
The overall $60.4 million proposed budget contains no increase in taxes and there is no increase in water and sewer and fees.

The General Fund budget is $29.1 million and the Water-Sewer budget a little over $28 million. The Hospitality Tax fund is $3.1 million. The budget includes a 2% cost-of-living raise for city employees.
