Big Lots announced, earlier in July, that more than 100 locations across the US, are closing.

According to a filing to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Big Lots will close several stores due to inflation, competitive pressures, and other factors. The Big Lots store on US 1 in West Columbia is not on the list of Big Lots stores that will close.

The stores in South Carolina on the list to close are in: Aiken, Chester, and Newberry.
