The West Columbia Beautification Foundation (WCBF) held its Tribute for Trees event Thursday

evening. It’s a fundraising effort to sponsor tree and plant projects in West Columbia. The WCBF sells trees to contributors and raised $17,000 during the Tribute for Trees last year.

The amount raised this year appears to have exceeded last year’s total. The Tribute for Trees event was held at West Columbia City Hall.  Pictures of some of the Tribute for Trees attendees, below. Click on photo to enlarge.
