West Columbia Beautification Foundation is Paving the Way in the Newest West Columbia Park
The West Columbia Beautification Foundation is selling a limited amount of commemorative bricks to be placed in the newest West Columbia All-Inclusive Park – Everyone – Every Ability – A Great Place to Play Together. The park is located at 212 Hudson Street, West Columbia, SC. The West Columbia Beautification Foundation’s Brick Fundraising Campaign will have up to 1500 engraved bricks installed in the park (adjacent to the West Columbia Riverwalk). West Columbia Beautification Foundation Chairperson Melissa Sprouse Browne said, “Making a donation to the West Columbia Beautification Foundation Brick Fundraising Campaign is a great way to memorialize your loved one, share a special date or message, or show support for your park.” Bricks will be engraved with your custom message and mini-bricks with the same message make a great gift. The newest park in West Columbia is designed for children of all abilities to share the joy in playing together. The facilities and amenities are entirely ADA accessible and designed with dignity in mind. The following ADA amenities are available: playground, water fountain, restroom facilities, an open-air pavilion, landscaping, and handicap accessible parking and sidewalks for easy access throughout the park and to the Riverwalk. The Park was made possible by the Central Carolina Community Foundation Connected Communities Grant, a South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Grant, the West Columbia Beautification Foundation, and West Columbia Hospitality Funds.
