West Columbia 10U football National Champion, all youth teams, honored by city council

The West Columbia Tiger Football Program, ages 10-and-under won the National Championship in Orlando, Fla. on Dec. 19.

West Columbia City Council congratulated the West Columbia S.C. Amateur Athletic Union Football Program with a resolution for making history as the first ever S.C. Amateur Athletic Union Football Program to have four age groups of 6-and-under, 8-and-under, 10-and-under, and 12-and-under win the state title and rank at the national level.

The West Columbia Tiger Football Program is located at Lakeview Empowerment Center. Darrell Hutto started the program in West Columbia in 2006 

The 10-and-under National Championship team consists of: Aiden Holmes, Alyjah Carrie, Anthony Furtick, III., Asar Joseph, Dante Wise, Darius Dixon, Decari Belton, Dontavian Epps, II., Emaure Samuel, Ethan Jackson, Jayveon Cunningham, Jai’lyn Hall, Javon Holmes, Jayden Hutton, Jevon Belton, Joseph Marshall, IV., Josiah Robinson, Kai Finkbeiner, Keion Gailliard, Keyden Carrie, Knowledge Dwyer, Lavades McKiver, Malachi Farmer, Markeith Singleton, Myshawn Roper, Ra’Zel Thornton, Richard Mallory, Thurman Hayward, Jr., Travis Brooks, Yave Castanedas Gonzalez, and Delorien Dixon.

The West Columbia Tiger Football Program 6-and-under, 8-and-under, 10-and-under and 12-and-under teams are coached by Lamar Ray, Darius Crowell, Demone Clark, Nathaniel Pringle, Jr., Daniel Jermaine Odom, Stacey Wise, Richard Mallory, Josh Battle, Patrick Davis, Eric Tolbert, Antwain Taylor, and Jamaal Tollivor.

Team moms are Makini Jackson, Ashley Amerson, Erica Barnes, Precious Riley, and Nicole Johnson.
