Sgt. Ronald Fair of the West Columbia Police Department was named Law Enforcement Officer of the Month at the Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce Monthly Breakfast Tuesday.

He is pictured with Andy Markl of Graphics Source and Vaughan Dozier of First Community Bank, award sponsor. Also pictured is Capt. John Norman of the WCPD. Fair helped apprehend two assailants after a shooting last month. The breakfast was held at the Daily Phoenix at the Super 8 Hotel near I-26 in West Columbia.
