The West Columbia Beautification Foundation’s Plant Sale Saturday morning was a success. Almost all of the 80-plus hanging flower baskets were sold by 11 a.m. The was over at noon.

Lanie Lewis, a member of the Beautification Foundation, said early  sales were strong, and there had been steady traffic all morning. The plant sale, a WCBF fundraiser, was held at West Columbia City Hall.
