Mike Hagins, President of Palmetto State Media Group, has named the official voice of the Airport Eagles. It will be Steve Knight, an Airport alumnus.

In announcing the decision, Hagins said “Steve was my number one choice from the start. He worked with me in the past as a color analyst. Steve has a vast knowledge of sports and as an Airport graduate a great passion and knowledge of Airport High School. He bleeds Airport Blue and Gray. Steve is a huge addition to our broadcast family.”

Steve Knight is a proud West Columbia resident and an alumnus of Airport High School, class of 2000. He is happily married to Denise for almost a decade and cherishes their beautiful family, which includes their three children: Tucker, aged 18, Riley, aged 17, and Addyson, who is 7. With a passion for baseball, Steve has dedicated over 20 years coaching at Midland Dixie Youth. Steve is an avid supporter of the South Carolina Gamecocks. Professionally, Steve works as a Right of Way agent at Michael Baker International.
