Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who was killedThe scene where the accident occurred last week.
in the motorcycle-versus-vehicle accident at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22. The accident took place in the 2200 block of Augusta Road in West Columbia. The man killed was Jesse Cravets, 35, of Monett.
Cravets, who was on the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene from the
injuries he sustained in the accident. An autopsy indicated that Cravets died from blunt force
injury.
The accident remains under investigation by the Lexington County Coroner’s Office and
