Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who was killed in the one-vehicle accident at approximately 1:10 a.m. on Sunday.

The accident occurred in the 500 block of Happy Town Road in Gaston. The victim is James Nathan Corbitt, 59, of  Gaston.

Corbitt was traveling alone and was pronounced dead at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the accident.  An autopsy has been scheduled for Sunday and the accident remains under investigation by the Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
