Vice President Mike Pence is scheduled to be in Columbia Tuesday to discuss the reopening schools.

Pence and his wife Karen will meet with Gov. Henry McMaster and his wife Peggy McMaster at the University of South Carolina to discuss efforts to fight COVID-19 , according to a release from Pence’s office. The event is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m.

Later in the day, the Vice President and Karen Pence will travel to Charleston, where he will deliver remarks at an event for First Congressional Seat Candiate Nancy Mace.
