
Vehicle goes through fence, lands in Lexington backyard

The Lexington Police Department reported Saturday night that an incident involving a vehicle occurred near the Hobby Lobby and a Hope Ferry Plantation neighborhood around 10 p.m.
According to the LPD, a vehicle had a likely mechanical malfunction and drove through parking lot fencing, over a retaining wall, landing in a resident’s back yard on Spruce Glen Road.
LPD said fire and EMS services arrived on scene about 10:15 p.m. Occupants of the vehicle were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A local tow service removed the vehicle from the back yard of the home.
