Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who was killed in a one-vehicle, overnight,  accident.  At approximately 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, in the 1100 block of Crystal Springs Drive in Pelion, Kevin E. Rentz, 25, of Neeses was killed.

Rentz was traveling alone and was pronounced dead at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the accident.  An autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday.The accident remains under investigation by the Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
