West Columbia City Councilman Mike Green posted an unofficial vote count document from Tuesday’s special election for Cayce City Council Dist. 1.

The vote count shows candidate Tim James with a one-vote lead over Tiffany Aull. James had 190 votes and Aull had 189, according to the document. The document is from Mary Brack of the Lexington County Election Commission. Candidate Megan Lightle received 29 votes.

The City of Cayce said the vote count is not official since it is so close, and has not yet been certified.
