The Lexington County Fire Service Ladder 5 unit responded to the 4400 block of 12th Street Ext. Sunday morning for a reported vehicle fire.

Upon arrival, heavy flames were coming from the vehicle, but firefighters had the fire extinguished in a short amount of time, according to a Lexington County report.

One person was transported to local hospital for medical evaluation, but for symptoms not related to the fire. Lexington County photo.
