Mr. Bearcat is a Brookland-Cayce High School tradition, with contestants raising money for their favorite charities. This year’s Mr. Bearcat was held Saturday.

Winners from this year’s event are: Mr. Freshman and the contestant who raised the most money for his charity, ASPCA, Andrew Roberts; Best Talent,  Jackson Allen; Mr. Congeniality, Brock Jones; Mr. Sophomore,  Kalvin Valentine; Mr. Junior, Ian Barnes; Mr. Senior, Parker Mergo; Mr. Bearcat First Runner-up, Jackson Allen; and 2023 Mr. Bearcat, Ty Marshall.  Teacher Ryan Van Omen, advisor of Student Council, which presents the annual event, is pictured in the center.
