Two people were killed in a crash of two pickup trucks, Thursday afternoon, according to Cpl. Sonny Collins of the S.C. Highway Patrol.

The two pickups, a 2008 Chevrolet and a ’92 Dodge, crashed on Hwy. 391 about one mile north of Batesburg-Leesville. Collins said the Dodge crossed the center line and the two trucks hit head on, killing the two people in the Dodge.

He said the driver of the Chevrolet was flown to the hospital.
Collins said the accident occurred about 2:50 p.m. He said all three involved were wearing seatbelts. The names have not yet been released by the Lexington County Coroner.
