Deputies with  the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department have arrested and charged two men with murder.
Charles Alton Morehouse and Wiley Eugene Sisk, both of Lexington, face murder charges in connection with the Aug. 3 shooting death of James David Porter III along Old Orangeburg Road.
“Our detectives determined Morehouse and Sisk were both at the scene when Mr. Porter was shot and killed,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said.
While executing a search warrant during the murder investigation at Morehouse’s home, investigators found methamphetamine and a large amount of cash. This evidence prompted a charge of possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine/ice against Morehouse and his wife, Crystal Elizabeth Morehouse. Charles Morehouse also faces three counts of distribution of methamphetamine/ice.
