The area of Chapin Road between Sid Bickley Road and Primrose Lane in Chapin has been shut down, Wednesday morning before 10, due to a collision between a train and a truck. There were only minor injuries reported and there is no concern of hazardous materials, according to the Chapin Police department

Law enforcement officials are asking drivers to please avoid the area as emergency crews respond to the scene. This area will be shut down for an extended period of time. Chapin Police will provide updates via its Facebook page as more information becomes available.
