Westbound traffic on Sunset Boulevard in West Columbia was reduced to one lane Wednesday afternoon. There were EMS vehicles, police cars and a firetruck on the scene of an accident near the Sunset Car Wash. A traffic light at Sunset and Hummingbird Drive remained red for a while and cars headed toward Columbia were backed up, too. The accident occurred around 4 p.m.
