Traffic delayed on I-20 after black ice causes crashes

A part of I-20 west bound was blocked, Wednesday morning, at the 58 mile marker due to “Black Ice,” according to Master Trooper David Jones of the S.C. Highway Patrol. The blockage was in Lexington County.

The black ice formed on the road and has caused several collisions, said Jones on Twitter. He said motorists could expect delays while crews work to clear the interstate of the dangerous ice build up.
