A post on the Sandy Run Calhoun Volunteer Fire District reports a “large sinkhole in the interstate on I-26 East at the 121 MM. Traffic is down to one lane and is backed up several miles towards Columbia. The right two lanes are closed for about a half mile. SCDOT is on scene and is assessing the situation.
