One person was killed Sunday afternoon in a collision involving a tractor-trailer, said Cpl. Sonny Collins of the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

The fatal crash occurred around 5:30 p.m., Sunday, on I-20, westbound at mile marker 56 in Lexington County.

The truck ran off the road and struck a bridge support for the overpass of Cedarcrest Road. The driver of the truck was killed in the crash.
