A survey team from the US National Weather Service determined an EF-1 tornado occurred in the Chapin-Lake Murray area from the Timberlake community northeastward to the Old Lexington Road and Wessinger Rd area with peak winds around 90 mph. The NWS issued the report Sunday night.
