Tim James has been reelected to Cayce city Council, District One.
With the in-person vote counted, James received 253 votes to 81 votes for challenged Karen Dawkins. There were not enough absentee ballots left to change the result. James received 12 absentee votes, Dawkins got three.
“Thank you for showing me your support again today,” James said in a statement. “The election results are in and I am proud to have been elected to serve you for the next four years.”
