Thrifty Paws Boutique cuts the ribbon in Triangle City
Thrifty Paws Boutique is a 501c3 non-profit charity opened Feb. 5 and formed to raise funds for animal rescue and welfare efforts in the community. It held a ribbon-cutting, Tuesday.
This boutique is in the perfect location, tucked away in the Triangle City right in the heart of our neighborhood and next to fellow Greater CWC Chamber member, Buttercream Dreams.
Executive director and founder, Teresa Smith, is a West Columbia native and grew up in the Greater Cayce-West Columbia area. She attended Airport High School and then the University of South Carolina. Thrifty Paws Boutique also dba Southern Paw Partners has donated over $100,000 to thirty different animal rescue and welfare organizations since its inception.
Teresa Smith is a great example of what it means to love local and support her community. She’s opened a business with her whole heart and created a space that not only gives our neighbors a place to convene and share the memories in all these items, but know that their donations, and their dollars are supporting a greater cause.
Thrifty Paws Boutique accepts gently owned, preowned and new merchandise including furniture, clothing, shoes, books, artwork, jewelry, housewares, home décor and so much more. Proceeds from donated items are given to qualifying animal rescue and welfare efforts.
Teresa Smith is offering a great promotion for today’s attendees to enjoy today and tomorrow. 10% off all furniture and 20% off all other merchandise.
Teresa finds joy in an upcycled item, knowing that it contributes to a greener community and less waste in the landfills.
