The ribbon is cut for Tessera Physical Therapy on Meeting Street, in West Columbia, Thursday

The ribbon was cut, Thursday, for Tessera Physical Therapy, at 840 Meeting Street – B1- in West Columbia. The Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber sponsored the event.

Tessera Physical Therapy was founded by Nicole Tessier, Doctor of Physical Therapy. She welcomed all attending the ribbon-cutting. Tessier is a board-certified orthopedic specialist, certified in dry needling. She holds advanced training with TMJ disorders, McKenzie method, pelvic health, and hand therapy.

Tim James, C-WC Chamber President, said the opening of Tessera Physical Therapy is more evidence of the continued growth of the West Columbia River District. City of West Columbia Economic Development Director BJ Unthank described the West Columbia business community as vibrant and very attractive.

West Columbia City Councilman David Moye attended with Cayce City Councilman Byron Thomas. Moye said he is “thrilled” the corner of Meeting Street and Ninth Street is flourishing in a new building that stands where there was once a vacant lot. River District Business Owners Marci Delaney (Spa 131) JB Beckett (Beckett Financial) and Coker Day (Pedego Electric Bikes) were also in attendance, along with several C-WC Board members.

James presented Tessier with a resolution declaring Aug. 1 as “Tessera Physical Therapy Day.”
