The new bridge, over the Saluda River, from Lexington County to Colonial Life Boulevard, in Columbia, has opened. The new bridge is part of the Carolina Crossroads Project. It opened on Thursday.

The new bridge changes the current traffic pattern and the exit onto Bush River Road is closed, but drivers can access Bush River Road via Colonial Life Boulevard. There is also access Interstate-20, Interstate-26 and the I-126 interchange using the new road configuration. (SCDOT Photos)
