While the coronavirus is the topic of conversation for many, the West Columbia Beautification Foundation is using the time to beautify Sunset Boulevard.

Shrubbery was placed along the fence in front of the Sunset campus of East Point Academy. The WCBF is also planning more planting, all the way down to I-26. One of those projects included trees in front of Our Saviour Lutheran Church on Sunset, said WCBF member Bill Mooneyhan.

The funding for the planting comes from events like the Tribute for Tress and Taste on the River that the WCBF hosts during the year.
