The mother of a West Columbia woman reported her daughter as missing on Friday. Thirty-one-year-old Gena Autury Renee Smith was last seen by her mother at their West Columbia home on Thursday. Units from the West Columbia Police Department, along with EMS, were on the scene of an accident, Sunday, around 3:30 p.m. The crash occurred at Sunset Boulevard and Cougar Drive, in West Columbia.
A crash involving at least four vehicles resulted in Klapman Boulevard being blocked Wednesday evening. West Columbia Police, West Columbia Fire and Lexington County EMS were on the scene around 6 p.m. in front of the Dollar General store just past Hook Avenue.
The West Columbia Police Department investigated a shooting incident that occurred on Double Branch Road, between Greenwood Road and North Brown Street, Wednesday. The victim’s injuries were non-life threatening. It is believed the incident was isolated, according the the WCPD. The general public was not in danger.

Units from the Springdale Police Department, Cayce Fire, the SC Highway Patrol, along with EMS personnel responded to an accident on Airport Boulevard, Wednesday after 9:30 a.m..
