Lexington Police respond to crash on Sunset Boulevard, Friday

Lexington Police were asking drivers to please use caution, Friday morning, traveling in the 5300 block of Sunset Boulevard (at Palmetto Park Boulevard.) Both inbound and outbound lanes were reduced to one lane each direction due to a collision. Emergency personnel were on the scene.

Driver fails to yield the right of way, police say, and it results in a crash on Sunset Boulevard

Lexington Police Department responded to a collision in the 4800 block of Sunset Blvd. (US-378) Thursday. The crash resulted in the closing of an outbound lane.All lanes were reopened. The wreck was caused by a driver failing to yield the right of way during a turn.
