The South Carolina Department of Transportation is paving parts of dozens of major roads/primary routes across the Midlands in 2025. Jarvis Klapman Boulevard is on the list and is being repaved. Traffic was backed up on 126 before the Greystone Boulevard Exit off of I-26, after 6 p.m., Thursday. One lane was open while crews were on the scene to move the tree that covered three lanes. The tree fell as heavy rains, and storm-like conditions blew through the area Thursday afternoon.
